Reggae Reggae Sauce founder Levi Roots is set to present his own BBC cook show. The show entitled Caribbean Foods Made Easy has already been commissioned for BBC 2 and will feature traditional recipes Levi learnt as a child and the latest nouvelle Caribbean cuisine.

Filming in the UK and Jamaica, Levi will look at the history and culture of some of the Caribbean’s best-loved dishes and the travels around the UK persuading those who have never tried Caribbean food before to tuck in.

Part of the programme will feature Levi cooking a meal for the Jamaican High Commissioner, Burchell Whiteman, his wife Jolene and a secret guest at the Jamaican High Commission in London.
